"This Yom Kippur, we wish our Jewish friends in the United States, Israel, and around the world a meaningful fast and a day of reflective prayer," said Chairwoman McDaniel. "As the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur is a sacred day for meaningful contemplation and a time to look to the year ahead with hope and renewed purpose. To everyone commemorating this High Holy Day, we wish you a great year full of success, and may you be sealed in the book of life."
