RNC Statement on Ramadan
WASHINGTON — Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement in honor of Ramadan:
“As tonight marks the beginning of Ramadan for Muslims around the world, we wish everyone observing a blessed and bright month ahead," said Chairwoman McDaniel. “We are inspired by our friends in the Muslim-American community practicing this period of fasting and spiritual discipline, and it is an invitation for all Americans, particularly during this unprecedented time in our history, to increase our devotion to prayer and adopt the same spirit of charity that defines this holy month.”
