Another day, another reason why North Dakotans will reject Heidi Heitkamp’s failed ‘leadership’ in November. Today’s news comes in the form of record breaking small business optimism thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act legislation that Heitkamp has recently denounced.
CNBC reports the highlights:
“The NFIB's small business optimism index rose 3 points to 107.8 in May, the second-highest level in the index's 45-year history.”
“Within the index, expectations for business expansion and reports of positive earnings trends hit record highs.”
But wait, there’s more:
“ Reports of compensation increases also hit their highest in the history of the index.”
Heitkamp’s vote against tax reform gets harder to defend by the day.
“Today marks yet another victory for small business owners in North Dakota, no thanks to Heidi Heitkamp. While the economy continues to boom, we are left to wonder how Senator Heitkamp plans to defend her partisan vote against tax reform.” –RNC Spokesperson Patrick McCann
