The Republican National Committee (RNC) and Nevada Republican Party (NVGOP) learned a lot during our recent 6-day, 15-county tour of rural Nevada, including just how irked rural Nevadans are with Jacky Rosen.
During the tour, we had the opportunity to catch up with folks from Goldfield to Elko who made one thing abundantly clear: most rural Nevadans have not seen hide nor hair of Rosen, leaving them with the distinct impression that as far as Rosen is concerned, the rurals just don’t matter. To put this in context, despite that Rosen wants to represent ALL of Nevada, she has literally only visited 5 counties outside of Clark County and Washoe, and one of those was the state capital!
By snubbing the rurals, Rosen is ignoring some of the most important resources, impressive attractions and historical landmarks our state has to offer. But regardless of what Rosen thinks, we were thrilled to visit rural Nevada. And to give Rosen a few examples of what she’s missing, here are just a few of the postcards we picked up for her along the way.
If Jacky Rosen wants to represent all Nevadans, she should be engaging Nevadans in cities and towns across the state instead of just focusing on voters in her Clark County comfort zone. We are sending Rosen postcards from just a few of the incredible towns and counties she’s ignoring as a reminder of how much rural Nevada matters.
