ONCE AGAIN, TODAY'S HEARING SHOWED THAT THE JULY 25th TRANSCRIPT WAS ACCURATE AND THAT THERE WAS NO QUID PRO QUO PRESSURE ON UKRAINE
- Director for European Affairs on the National Security Council Alexander Vindman testified that he cannot remember any Ukrainian ever mentioning any pressure to do investigations.
- Senior White House national security official Tim Morrison and Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker confirmed that Ukraine did not know aid was on hold , undercutting any allegation of a quid pro quo arrangement.
- Volker said he received no " indication whatsoever or anything that resembled a quid pro quo " and that he was never involved in anything "considered to be bribery."
- Rep. Jim Jordan outlined how the transcript of the July 25th phone call showed no linkage or pressure on Ukraine.
- Both State Department official Williams and Vindman agreed the transcript was "substantively correct" and "very accurate," respectively.
- Morrison said nothing concerned him about the July 25th phone call.
