As Mike Pompeo begins his Senate hearings and the confirmation process to become our next Secretary of State, Hoosiers will be watching to see if Senator Donnelly chooses to play partisan games with America’s top diplomatic position.
In January 2017, Senator Donnelly had no problem voting to confirm Pompeo as the Director of Central Intelligence, and should remain consistent when Pompeo’s nomination to Secretary of State comes to a vote.
Senator Donnelly should think twice before letting politics disrupt our national security and interests abroad. Will Senator Donnelly remain consistent and support Pompeo’s nomination, or will he choose to play resistance politics at the expense of America’s national security?
