It’s Day 2 of Judge Kavanaugh’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, and Senator Donnelly still hasn’t listened to his constituents by announcing his support for Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Yesterday, when Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee tried to derail Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Senator Donnelly stood silent and chose to stand with his party in playing their obstructionist games.
Today, Senator Gillibrand stated that red state Democrats like Joe Donnelly needs to listen to his constituents, which would mean supporting Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Hoosiers have already made their voices clear; they overwhelmingly want Donnelly to confirm Judge Kavanaugh. Meanwhile, Mike Braun has publicly challenged Senator Donnelly to join him in support of Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation, but it looks as if Donnelly prefers to sit on the sidelines, per usual, instead.
