Sorry Bill, Small Business Optimism is Booming

Taryn Fenske - June 12, 2018

Another day, another reason why Floridians will reject Bill Nelson’s failed ‘leadership’ in November. Today’s news comes in the form of record breaking small business optimism thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, when in fact Bill Nelson has said it would burden Florida small businesses.

CNBC reports the highlights:

“The NFIB's small business optimism index rose 3 points to 107.8 in May, the second-highest level in the index's 45-year history.”

Wow.

“Within the index, expectations for business expansion and reports of positive earnings trends hit record highs.”

But wait, there’s more:

“ Reports of compensation increases also hit their highest in the history of the index.”

Regretting your vote yet, Bill?

“Today marks yet another victory for small business owners in Florida, no thanks to Do-Nothing Nelson. While the economy continues to boom, we are left to wonder if Senator Nelson regrets his vote against more money in Floridians’ pockets?” –RNC Spokesperson Taryn Fenske
