The tax reform wins for Hoosiers keep on coming. Velvet Ice Cream, who has multiple locations across Indiana, announced increased wages by $1.10/hour for full-time employees and $0.50/hour for seasonal workers as well as other various investments into their company due to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. This is just the latest bit of good news coming from President Trump’s tax cuts.
With the new polling from Morning Consult showing Senator Joe Donnelly’s approval rating dropping by 4 points in the 1st quarter of 2018, maybe opposing tax cuts for middle class Hoosiers at the request of Chuck Schumer wasn’t the best idea after all.
“In the middle of tax season we’re continuing to see higher wages and investments coming into Indiana by way of President Trump’s tax cuts. Since Senator Donnelly opposed the extra money in Hoosiers’ pockets, Hoosiers should come out in droves in November to replace Donnelly with someone who will actually vote with Hoosiers in Washington.” –RNC Spokesperson Michael Joyce
