Joe Biden had a banner week of stumbles, bumbles, and fumbles.
This week alone, Biden was repeatedly confused by the teleprompter and forgot what he was trying to say again and again, and again. Even when his campaign tries to script his public appearances, Biden either can’t remember the point without his notes, or accidently says “quote” before quoting the teleprompter in a supposedly unscripted town hall.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg:
Monday:
- Biden parroted Chinese government talking points and incomplete data to criticize President Trump in a purely political attack.
- He insisted we need to "put millions of citizens on a pathway to citizenship"
- And Biden embraced the socialist agenda, saying he will “need” socialist Bernie Sanders’ help "to govern” if elected.
Tuesday:
- Nap time, I presume for Joe.
- But not for Hunter Biden. Despite Hunter (and the Biden campaign’s) pledge to resign from the board of a Chinese private equity company back in October, records show that he is still on the board.
Wednesday
- Biden forgot the name of COVID-19 and called the coronavirus “COVID-9.”
- He attempted to one-up Hillary, echoing her 2016 playbook to smear Trump supporters as racists.
Thursday
- Biden was again behind the curve, calling for a council to open our country two days after President Trump announced the “Opening our Country” council.
- He forgot what year 9/11 happened.
- Biden called the coronavirus an “opportunity” to “fundamentally change the science relating to global warming.”
Friday
- The day is not over yet for Biden…
Bottom Line: It’s scary watching the Joe Biden campaign. And to think… the 2020 Democrat field was whittled down to a 77-year old socialist who can barely string together a coherent sentence. If Biden can’t deliver a cogent response to coronavirus, how can he honestly ask the nation to trust him to handle the nuclear codes?
