Fast and Furious

The Obama Administration allowed thousands of weapons to fall into the hands of dangerous drug cartels in Mexico. This failed sting operation caused a U.S. Border Patrol agent to be killed by one of the misplaced guns. The Obama Administration attempted to cover up this debacle and refused to shed light on the operation.

Obama Lied About “Fast And Furious”

- September 25, 2012

Obama: “Well, First Of All, I Think It’s Important For Us To Understand That The Fast And Furious Program Was A Field-Initiated Program Begun Under The Previous Administration.” UNIVISION’S JORGE RAMOS: “Mr. President, you told me during an interview that you—Eric Holder or you did not authorize the Fast and Furious operation that allowed 2,000 weapons from the United States to Mexico, and they were in drug-trafficking hands. I think that up to 100 Mexicans might have died, and also American agent, Brian Terry. There’s a report that 14 agents were responsible for the operation. But shouldn’t Attorney General Eric Holder—he should have known about that. And if he didn’t, should you fire him?” OBAMA: “Well, first of all, I think it’s important for us to understand that the Fast and Furious program was a field-initiated program begun under the previous administration.” ... - September 20, 2012

Today the Department Of Justice's Inspector General testified before the House Oversight Committee on the Department's mishandling of the botched "Fast And Furious" operation that allowed thousands of weapons to flow into Mexico and possibly resulted in the death of one U.S. Border Patrol Agent. Among the IG's findings: that DOJ officials knew about gun walking, that the White House refused to provide information, and that Attorney General Eric Holder still believes that he has nothing to do with the case....
