Where's Hunter? Apparently, still on the board of a Chinese company

Steve Guest - April 15, 2020

Despite Hunter Biden’s (and the Biden campaign) pledge to resign from the board of a Chinese private equity company back in October, 6 months later, records show that he is still on the board.

As ABC News reported last year, “Ukraine wasn't the only country where Hunter Biden's business and his father's diplomacy has vice president intersected.” China literally rolled out the red carpet for Hunter Biden after he hitched a ride on Air Force 2 to Beijing in 2013.

The Daily Caller notes, “Hunter Biden had arranged for then-Vice President Joe Biden to shake hands with the CEO of BHR in December 2013, a meeting that caused some White House advisors to worry whether the younger Biden was exposing his father to criticism.”

Reminder: At a time when the AP reports “China didn’t warn public of likely pandemic for 6 key days,” this crisis is a reminder that we don’t need someone like Joe Biden who has a history of being soft on China in the White House.

As The New York Times reported back in October when Hunter promised to resign, Joe Biden claimed, “I’m going to build on the squeaky-clean transparent environment that we had in the Obama-Biden White House, and no one in my family or associated with me will be involved in any foreign operation whatsoever.”

Joe Biden should be asked why his son promised to resign, but never actually stepped down. Maybe this was all just orchestrated to help the Biden campaign avoid unwanted questions when Joe was up against the ropes before a Democrat primary debate in the Fall?

Bottom Line: From Joe Biden’s family’s pattern of enriching themselves with business deals that parallel Joe’s political career to Biden repeatedly downplaying China’s threat to American interests, Joe Biden is a danger to America.
