The latest absurd proposal from Democrats comes from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez this week, who said we should eliminate the U.S. Department of Homeland Security:
First AOC called for abolishing ICE.

Then she compared Border Patrol agents to Nazis.
Now she wants to "get rid" of the Department of Homeland Security (created to protect America after 9/11) altogether.

The Democrat party has become so radicalized that they want to abolish an important agency that was designed to protect America following the attacks on 9/11, in addition to their desire to give illegal immigrants healthcare, decriminalize border crossings and do away with barriers altogether. Will 2020 Democrats and their colleagues embrace this latest litmus test? Voters in Colorado deserve to know if Mike Johnston, Andrew Romanoff, and the rest of their Senate field support AOC’s dangerous agenda.

When asked if she favors eliminating DHS, Ocasio-Cortez said the following:
- “I think so. I think so. I think we need to undo a lot of the egregious mistakes that the Bush Administration did. I feel like it is a very qualified and supported position, at least in terms of evidence and in terms of being able to make the argument that we never should have created D.H.S., in the early two-thousands.”
