9 Iowa cities in 3 days? Seems like Team Obama is more than a little worried about a state he won by 9 points in 2008. I guess we saw it coming, the Real Clear Politics average shows his lead dwindling to just 1 point and the AP and Des Moines Register have reported that Obama’s Iowa magic is long gone and the state is trending toward the GOP in voter registration.
Recall the lede of last month’s DMR front pager – “Some of the once-euphoric Iowans who inspired the nation to embrace Barack Obama in 2008 are experiencing a deep-seated buyer’s remorse over their role in delivering the White House to a candidate they think has let them down.”

- VOTER REG: When Obama was elected in 2008 Democrats held a 105,000 voter registration advantage. Last week Republicans out registered Democrats again and now hold a 21,589 voter advantage.
