Biden's military parade

Commentary

Under President Donald Trump, Republicans wanted to honor our military with a parade in Washington, D.C. Under Joe Biden, the only military parades happening are the Taliban’s parades in Afghanistan with U.S. weapons.

In 2019, Joe Biden was outraged by President Trump’s “Salute to America.” Now, he’s silent on the Taliban flaunting the billions of dollars’ worth of U.S. weaponry they seized because of Biden’s botched withdrawal.

The Taliban seized guns, ammunition, helicopters, Humvees, and combat aircraft. Biden failed the test he set in 2007, when he said that a withdrawal that left weaponry to a U.S. enemy would endanger our security: “You leave those billions of dollars of weapons behind, I promise they’re going to be used against your grandchild and mine someday.”

Now our enemies are emboldened – Afghanistan-based jihadists are “intent” on striking the U.S., and China moves to take advantage of the blow Biden dealt to U.S. strategic security and credibility.
