Democrat Katie Hobbs: Imagine, No Wall

Katie Hobbs became the latest Democrat to “imagine no wall in southern Arizona” during an interview on 12 News yesterday. Hobbs opposes filling in the border wall gaps in Yuma, Arizona — proving once again she is completely unfit to be governor of a border state.

When Joe Biden shut down border wall construction his first day in office, he left wide-open gaps in the border wall. Yuma Mayor Doug Nicholls said illegal immigrants travel an additional 60 miles to these gaps because it is so easy to cross through them.

Democrat Mark Kelly already broke his promise to fix these border wall gaps. Now, Kelly’s likely Democrat running mate Katie Hobbs revealed she does not want the gaps closed at all.

Asked point blank if she would try to plug the gap, Hobbs said no. “There is a massive gap in Yuma where people can just walk right through. It’s really that easy…” asked Brahm Resnik. “Would you try to plug that gap at least?” Hobbs bizarrely blamed former President Trump. “I think if a wall was the solution, then the wall would be done,” Hobbs said. “That’s what Donald Trump ran on and he had the ability to do that when he was president.”

The last time Hobbs tried to blame Trump and Republicans for the Biden Border Crisis, KTAR radio hosts lambasted her. Hobbs has a long history of extreme open borders positions including flip-flopping on Title 42, calling to defund state border security and opposing border wall construction.

“Arizonans have seen this movie before and Katie Hobbs won’t like how it ends. Katie Hobbs’ support for defunding border security, Biden’s disastrous border policies and leaving the gaps in the border wall wide open are no coincidence. Katie Hobbs is a true-believer open borders Democrat, and that won’t fly with Arizonans.” – RNC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
