Philadelphia has now suffered 350 murders already in 2022, outpacing even 2021’s high numbers at this point in the year —a grim tally that has been fueled by Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies, with politicians like Josh Shapiro, John Fetterman, Larry Krasner, and Jim Kenney doing nothing to address the deadly trend.

As families fear for their lives, Fetterman has repeatedly endorsed releasing a third of Pennsylvania’s prison population, claiming “everyone is safer or better off” with more convicts on the street.
In step with Democrats’ radical agenda, Fetterman appointed Celeste Trusty, an advocate for disarming police and abolishing “mandatory life without parole as a sentence for first and second-degree murder,” to the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons. Fetterman’s decision to put an extreme activist on the board is another slap in the face to families fearing for their lives as crime continues to skyrocket.
Of course, Fetterman was mirroring the soft-on-crime posturing of today’s Democrat “Defund the Police” Party. Across the country, woke Democrat politicians and far-left prosecutors have turned once-great cities into dens of lawlessness and chaos.
