In Major Blow to Democrats, Supreme Court Ends Race-Based College Admissions
RNC - Communications

The Supreme Court just ruled that racial stereotyping cannot be used as a factor in college admissions. This is a huge win for families and students and a loss for Joe Biden and the Democrats who have consistently defended using state-sponsored racial discrimination the admissions process.

The Biden administration even claimed people opposing anti-Asian American discrimination in college admissions were “extreme.” Previously, the administration asked the Supreme Court to decide in favor of the discriminatory policies at Harvard.

Republicans have consistently defended students from being discriminated based on their race. Reps. Michelle Steel and Young Kim, two of the first Korean American women in Congress, have been staunch defenders of Asian students against these discriminatory policies. They, along with 80 of their Republican colleagues, filed an amicus brief in support of ending race-based college admissions.

Bottom line: Nothing could be more “extreme” than allowing racial stereotyping to play a role in whether a student can go to school. Today is a huge victory for families and students.
