With Arizona gas prices hitting all-time records, Democrat Katie Hobbs unveiled a scheme to send gas prices soaring even higher. Katie Hobbs embraced the Biden Gas Hike and unveiled her “Green New Deal”-esque plan.
In her proposal, Katie Hobbs said, “the time to transition the state away from fossil fuels ... is now.” This truly radical scheme would mean higher gas prices and higher energy bills at a time when Arizonans can least afford it.
Under the Biden Gas Hike, Arizonans are paying more than $5.30 per gallon on average statewide and more than $5.60 in Maricopa County, according to AAA. Meanwhile, the 13.5 percent inflation price hike since Biden took office is costing Arizonans an extra $733 per month.
What voters want is more energy production to lower gas prices, polls show. This is a top issue for Arizonans. 97 percent of Arizona voters said they are worried about rising gas prices in a recent poll. Voters also know exactly who to blame for gas prices — Joe Biden and Democrats.
