New Consumer Price Index data released today showed Joe Biden and Arizona Democrats’ inflation crisis getting much worse. Nationally, inflation shot past expectations — “much hotter than expected” — to hit a new 40-year high.
Inflation in Arizona continues to exceed the national rate of 9.1 percent for June. In the Mountain region that includes Arizona, inflation hit 9.9 percent.
Today’s data showed Maricopa County and Pinal County had the worst inflation of any tracked metro area in the continental U.S. with prices spiking 12.3 percent.
Little question remains about who and what is to blame for the worst inflation in decades. Experts agree Joe Biden and Arizona Democrats’ massive spending spree fueled inflation and Democrat Mark Kelly cast the deciding vote. Biden and Democrats also sent gas prices soaring with the Biden Gas Hike. Polling shows voters blame Biden for the crisis, with 71 percent disapproving of his handling of inflation.
The inflation that took place since Joe Biden took office is costing Arizonans at least $807 extra per month. Now a recession is looming and other key economic indicators show how Biden and Arizona Democrats’ economy is punishing Arizonans.
“With Arizona Democrats Mark Kelly, Tom O’Halleran and Greg Stanton voting for Joe Biden’s disastrous agenda nearly 100 percent of the time, it’s no wonder that Arizonans rightly blame Kelly, O’Halleran and Stanton for the resulting 40-year high inflation.” – RNC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
