The Republican Point: Biden could end the border crisis today if he wanted to

Commentary

Reminder, Joe Biden could end the border crisis today if he wanted to because his failed policies fueled the crisis in the first place.

In his first 100 days, he took more than 94 executive actions on immigration, including halting construction of the border wall, stopping the national emergency declaration at the border, and ending the successful "Remain in Mexico" policy.

Since then, we’ve witnessed the worst border crisis in U.S. history, with over 8.7 million illegal border crossings under Biden.

It's not just Biden who is to blame though. For over 250 days, Senate Democrats have obstructed Republican efforts to secure the border with H.R.2, refusing to debate the House-passed bill in the Senate. In fact, Democrats in Congress have consistently voted for policies that make the border and country less secure:

Here’s the point: Joe Biden created the worst border crisis in U.S. history with his executive actions. He could solve it by reversing them. He refuses to, and that speaks volumes.
