President Trump is committed to protecting Nebraska farmers and food security by preventing China from acquiring American farmland.  When President Trump wins in November, America will once again implement tough restrictions to prevent the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from controlling critical U.S. assets—everything from energy to farmland. 

President Trump understands the stakes and has already proven he will stand up to China and negotiate new opportunities for US farmers. While President Trump was in the White House, China lifted its ban on poultry, opened its market to beef, and agreed to purchase at least $80 billion of American agricultural products. Back in 2019, President Trump took bold action to shield American farmers from China’s trade war, providing $16 billion in aid to help them survive Beijing’s aggression. President Trump has always had the backs of American farmers, and is the only candidate who can keep China at bay. 

Kamala Harris, on the other hand, has shown frightening loyalty to China, time and time again. Under her watch, Chinese companies have been buying up U.S. land—even property near an Air Force base. Instead of taking a hard stance, Harris prefers to “de-risk,” not “decouple” from China, making it clear she is unwilling to protect our country from China’s growing influence. Kamala's failure to act is a glaring threat to America’s future, and Harris’ history of weakness on China has only emboldened our greatest geopolitical rival.

This isn't new - Harris has been soft on China for years. In 2019, she criticized President Trump’s tariffs on China.  Meanwhile, her administration quietly approved licenses for Chinese companies like Huawei—a blacklisted entity tied to the Chinese Communist Party—putting national security at risk. Additionally, Harris and her Democrat allies support subsidizing CCP-linked businesses using US tax dollars. 

The Bottom Line: Harris has always cozied up to China, even when American jobs, industries, and security were on the line. President Trump is the only leader who will prioritize national security and stop China from taking over America’s farmland and critical infrastructure.
