25 YEARS: Remembering 9/11

Commentary

Today marks 25 years since nearly 3,000 innocent victims were murdered by radical Islamic terrorists during the worst terror attack in our nation’s history.

This solemn anniversary was commemorated yesterday during the 2026 Republican Convention. Watch the remembrance below, including a Presentation of Colors, in honor of the lives of the victims and the heroism of first responders.

Following yesterday’s remembrance, Chairman Joe Gruters released a statement calling September 11, 2001 “the most horrific day in our nation’s history.”

“Nearly 3,000 innocent people were killed at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists, and we can never drop our guard and allow it to happen again,” Chairman Gruters said. “While we honor the victims and their families, we also recognize the brave first responders who ran toward danger in the aftermath of the attacks. We thank them for their selfless bravery and renew our pledge to Never Forget.”

Republicans will always stand with 9/11 families, survivors, and responders.

NEVER FORGET.
