Another Election Integrity Win for Florida

Commentary

“Apologies to Florida Democrats in their most recent failed attempt to stop Republican efforts to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.” – RNC Spokeswoman Julia Friedland

Florida Republicans’ just delivered another election integrity win, much to the dismay of Florida Democrats:

The question must be asked: why are these election integrity safeguards “bad” as flailing gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried puts it?

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals leaves SB 90 intact and puts back into effect a deadline for third party registration groups to return registration applications for voters, safeguards for ballot drop boxes and allows the state itself to implement the law’s voting procedures.

The Republican National Committee’s intervened as parties to the most recent attack on Florida’s election integrity laws as part of our commitment to protecting election integrity at every level of the process.

Florida Democrats will have to spark fake outrage about the next thing on their checklist and the media will have to revisit their breathless reporting on parts of SB 90 being blocked. Until then, Floridians will celebrate another win for common-sense Republican efforts that ensure that every legal vote counts.
