Florida just showed the country what Election Day is supposed to look like: voters cast their ballots and knew the outcome before they went to bed.
Unfortunately, that isn't the standard everywhere. In far-left Democrat states like California, Oregon, Washington, New York, Illinois, and New Jersey, election officials routinely spend days or even weeks after Election Day counting ballots and certifying results.
The Republican National Committee is leading the fight to protect the safeguards that help make secure elections and timely results possible.
Most recently, the RNC and Republican Party of Florida moved to intervene in federal court to defend Florida's SAVE Act (HB 991). But our work doesn't stop here.
