Hakeem who?

On ABC This Week, Jeffries previewed Democrats’ priorities, offering vague platitudes on affordability and vowing to obstruct President Trump at all costs. Not that it matters, because half the country doesn’t know who Jeffries is, and the other half couldn’t care less about what he has to say.

While Jeffries launched accusations about the economy, he’s forgetting that Democrats under Biden spent tax dollars like drunken sailors, leading to a cost-of-living disaster that Republicans are fighting to clean up. 

UNDER DEMOCRATS:

• Year-over-year inflation peaked at 9.1%
• Prices increased 20.3%
• Gas prices hit $5/gallon for the first time in history
• Real wages and benefits fell 3.4%
• Interest rates hit their highest levels in 23 years
• Monthly mortgage payments increased $1,005/month and were 89% higher than when President Trump first left office

UNDER REPUBLICANS:

• Year-over-year inflation is at 3.5%
• Prices are decreasing for everyday goods like eggs, bread, bacon, and butter
• Real wages have increased 4.7% for the bottom 25% of earners
• Mortgage rates have fallen to their lowest level since 2022
• Monthly mortgage payments are down, and mortgage affordability is at a four-year high
• 96% of low- and middle-class filers received an average tax cut of over $800
• Tax refunds averaged over $3,400 – up over 11% from last year

The reality is Democrats dug our economy into a hole, and their only solution is to smear Republicans who are working to fix it.
