Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts Act passed by Rob Bresnahan, Ryan Mackenzie, and Scott Perry, U.S. household income rose to a record high last year as the poverty rate fell to one of the lowest levels ever recorded.
Here are the highlights:
Inflation-adjusted income increased to $87,460
Poverty fell to 10.2%
Hispanic and child poverty hit record lows
Women made the largest year-over-year gains in the male:female income ratio
