Last night, Mainers and
Americans witnessed a true spectacle as eight candidates vying to replace
Nazi rapist Graham Platner presented themselves to voters in a televised
debate.
Among those on the stage
included alleged
abuser Troy Jackson, space
weather analyst Elizabeth Dickerson, and trans songwriter Ashley
Webb, who has sparked an online
frenzy.
We believe it’s only fair
that ALL of these candidates get another bite at the apple next week in the
joint debate hosted
by CNN and Bangor Daily News. That’s what a real, transparent, primary process
looks like.
It's not like CNN hasn’t hosted this many Democrat candidates before…
