Commentary

In case you missed it, a new “Women for Kean” coalition launched last night to support the re-election of Congressman Tom Kean Jr.

The coalition will be co-chaired by women from all six counties across the district.

Republican National Committeewoman from New Jersey Janice Fields MC’d the event and spoke about plans for the coalition saying, “women have always been a driving force in our communities and, when we come together, we’re a powerful force for action. This coalition is about galvanizing that energy into a true grassroots movement of real women who are ready to reach their neighbors, get involved, and fight for what matters most. New Jersey women have a voice, and we intend to use it in this election.”

Congressman Kean highlighted the impact women in his district have made saying, “I’m proud to be joined by an incredible group of women who make our communities strong… Women for Kean are an important part of our team.”

Republican National Committee Co-Chair KC Crosbie joined the launch saying, “as we saw in 2024, women are a crucially important voting bloc, and this midterm cycle will be no different. We’re in a fight for common sense… [Tom Kean] is about results, not theatrics. That’s why I support him, and women in NJ-07 will support him this November. ”

“I’m proud to be joined by an incredible group of women who make our communities strong,” Kean said. “We’re talking about the issues that matter most to New Jersey families, from lowering the cost of living and delivering real property tax relief to keeping our communities safe.”

Kean said the coalition would be an important component of his campaign’s grassroots organization.

“Women for Kean are an important part of our team, and I’m grateful to have their support as we work together to deliver results for New Jersey,” he said.

“As we saw in 2024, women are a crucially important voting bloc, and this midterm cycle will be no different,” Crosbie told the New Jersey Globe. “We’re in a fight for common sense: American elections reserved for American citizens, tax cuts instead of tax hikes, and a secure southern border instead of an open highway for illicit drugs that kill New Jerseyans and tear families apart.”
