The Democrat Sunday-Show Civil War

Commentary

Democrats spent their Sunday morning fighting over who belongs in their party, denying the socialist takeover is even happening, and reminding voters their agenda remains dangerously out of touch.

  • Former Obama and Biden official Rahm Emanuel completely dodged the question on how he feels about the socialist takeover of his party. "I don’t consider Democratic Socialists part of the Democratic Party…They believe in defunding the police…opening the borders…Put it on the ballot let's go, run as a separate party.”

  • Former DNC Chair Donna Brazile tried to sweep the socialist takeover under the rug and tried to validate the party's civil war. “Our fight internally in the Democratic Party is not about the Democratic Socialists organization…"

  • Rep. Chris Pappas refused to say whether the DSA's rise was good for Democrats."What works in New York City doesn’t necessarily work in New Hampshire.”

While those Democrats spent their Sundays deflecting the fact that extremist Democrats and Socialists have taken over their party, other Democrats happily embraced their far-left radical agenda.

  • Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn endorsed Kamala Harris' scheme to pack the court, calling for four additional Supreme Court justices. Yes, I do…13 is a pretty good number. A baker’s dozen would be a good number to have on the court.”

  • Democrat Senator Dick Blumenthal smeared ICE agents tasked with removing murders, rapists, and pedophiles from harming American citizens, arguing the point of law enforcement is to implement cruelty and fear. "The point is cruelty. They are trying to spread terror and sow fear in a way that is destructive of those communities."

Democrats can argue all they want over whether the socialists officially belong in their party, but the obvious truth is that the far left already controls the agenda.

"From open borders and abolishing law enforcement to packing courts and allowing men in women's sports, the Democrat party isn’t hiding their radical agenda. Democrats can fight over who has custody of the party, but it’s clear the extremist Democrats are holding the reins on the party's ride to midterm ruin. - Natalie Baldassarre, RNC National Press Secretary
