The Republican Point: Biden Is Pro-CCP, Not Pro-Union

Joe Biden claims he is “pro-union,” but in reality his policies are pro-Chinese Communist Party. A quick trip to Michigan before jetting off to another fundraiser in California won’t change that.

FACT: Biden’s electric vehicle market manipulation enriches the Chinese Communist Party. How?

• Biden’s EV push forces the U.S. to rely on the CCP for the critical minerals required to build EV batteries.
• Interior Secretary Deb Haaland admitted that Biden’s EV market manipulation would make the U.S. dependent on China – which has much weaker environmental standards.
• “Climate Czar” John Kerry has repeatedly said Biden’s agenda relies on cooperation with Communist China, even if that means ignoring China’s horrifying human rights abuses and direct national security provocations.

Take, for example, the scam “Inflation Reduction Act,” which Biden has touted as his primary “climate” legislation. According to an analysis from The Wall Street Journal, the biggest winners of spending in the scam have been foreign companies. In fact, foreign companies are involved in a full 60% of the projects funded under the law, including billions of dollars going to companies based in or with substantial ties to China. Worryingly, the Treasury Department may be set to send even more money overseas to meet its “green” goals.

Meanwhile, Biden’s EV “comply-or-die” mandates, priorities, and increased regulations are leading to layoffs, bankruptcies, and lower wages in the United States. As Michigan Rep. John James put it, “[Biden is] building the middle class in China on the backs of ours, and we have to stop it.”
