If this Senate race has taught us anything, it is that Tim Ryan has a promising career ahead of him in selling footwear after he loses this November. In response to President Biden announcing his student loan cancellation plan, Ryan tried selling Ohio yet another shameless flip-flop. He announced he was opposed to Biden’s plan to forgive up to $20,000 in student loans, but for years Ryan called for taxpayer funded student loan forgiveness.
As recent as the 2020 Democrat presidential primary, Ryan called on lawmakers to erase student loans, aligning himself with far-left politicians including Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden.
Just as he did on trade, abortion, taxes, and policing, Ryan has flip-flopped on the issue of student loan cancellation. Yet again, he morphs and changes his positions on the issues to serve his own political needs.
Bottom Line: When Tim Ryan loses this November, we will wish him nothing but the best as he continues to do what he always has done in his next career: selling flip-flops.
