WASHINGTON,
D.C. – Republican
National Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters hit the ground in Middle
Tennessee yesterday, joining Speaker Mike Johnson and Tennessee Republican
Party (TNGOP) Chairman Scott Golden to rally voters ahead of today’s special
election in the state’s 7th District.
Chairman Gruters spent the day traveling across the district energizing
supporters, meeting with local leaders, and making the case for Republican
nominee Matt Van Epps — a candidate he called “one of the best we’ve had in a
long time.”
Chairman Gruters, Speaker Johnson, and Chairman Golden made multiple stops
across Middle Tennessee, drawing enthusiastic crowds and underscoring the GOP’s
unified support for Matt Van Epps.

Chairman Gruters also joined
Newsmax’s “Wake Up America” to highlight the momentum behind Van Epps and the
contrast in the race:
“… I think Matt Van Epps is
one of the best candidates we’ve had in a long time… We were there all day
yesterday with Speaker Johnson. We had seven or eight stops and there’s energy,
there’s momentum — and Aftyn Behn is a terrible candidate…”
