WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Gruters joined The Federalist Radio Hour last week to discuss how President Trump and Republicans can win the midterms next year and the RNC’s election integrity efforts.
Chairman Gruters on how President Trump Is Driving GOP Momentum into 2026:
“… I think what we've seen over the first nine months of service…has been nothing less than remarkable because [President Trump] is firing on all cylinders. He's fulfilling his campaign promises, and he's continuing to lead from the front and just doing an amazing job...
“… I'm so grateful to have the position and to have the President and his leadership because he is the guiding light. I think his policies will lead us to victory, and I think that candidates that embrace the President and follow his lead will have success at the ballot box next November…”
Chairman Gruters on President Trump’s Plan to Make America Affordable Again:
“… the President's been focused on the economy and affordability since day one. But the problem [is], you're exactly right, you can't always measure everything the very next day something passes.
“We've been dealing with four years of Biden inflation…interest rates, all these inflationary measures under the Biden administration that were pushed up and to make things unaffordable…the President had to come in and…get spending under control and get… the plan in place to try to bring down some of these prices.
“… that's what the Big Beautiful Bill was about, like the no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on social Security…look what the President is doing on a daily basis to go out there and help the average American worker.”
Chairman Gruters on the RNC’s Aggressive Election Integrity Program:
“We're going to continue to keep our foot on the pedal and we're not going to let up from election integrity standpoint. The President made it very clear to me that the most important job of the Party is to make sure we protect the vote…
“We’re the nucleus [on] behalf of the entire Republican umbrella that really fights the election integrity issues. We have 94 or 95 active lawsuits right now on issues ranging from trying to prevent illegals from voting, trying to make sure we can have clean voter rolls, trying to make sure we have equal access to the election poll workers, poll watchers, voter registration issues...
“We used to take a much more reactive approach, now we’ve been very proactive in our efforts to try to make sure that we do everything we can to make it as easy as possible…to vote and as hard as possible to cheat.”
