Five months out from the
midterms, Trump is ramping up his travel in must-win districts. He visited New
York last month to campaign for vulnerable Republican Rep. Mike Lawler, and is
heading to Wisconsin on Friday to stump for Rep. Derrick Van Orden.
“Our job is to turn out
voters and turn out low propensity voters, which he has proven he can do three
times... You saw what he did with Congressman Lawler. He’s going to do
that over and over again because we’re putting the president on the ballot in
2026.”

Chairman Gruters said he is
working “in lockstep” with the White House on strategy for the elections and
believes... with the White House on strategy for the elections, and believes
they will tilt both chambers on the Hill further to the right.

The White House plans to
tout action on border security, public safety, and tax cuts to sway voters to
turn out for Republicans in November with Trump leading the messaging charge.

"[Gruters] point[ed] to
Trump’s recent endorsement wins as proof he can drive Republican turnout to get
candidates across the line in November.
“I say candidates, in order
for them to win, you should bear-hug the president and embrace him fully and
support his messaging and his policies because on the individual level they’re
all wildly popular,“ Gruters said.

helping us in our district mainly because we’re showcasing the impact of our
policies,” Nunn said. Van Orden, who cited Trump as “wildly popular” among his
constituents, said he is happy to welcome Trump back to his district.
