“We have no other option
but to win… In order to be successful, you have to focus on the fundamentals of
the Party, and that’s registering voters, turning voters out, and now of course
election integrity…
“I think we have an
incredible opportunity to defy history.
“Only four times in the
last 150 years has the incumbent party been able to hold onto the majorities,
but listen, we’re firing on all cylinders. I think this president has done more
in 13 months than most presidents do in eight years. We have a unified leadership
team…”

Strategic Spending to Secure Midterm Victories:
“We have the Vice
President for the first time in history as the Republican National Committee’s
Finance Chairman…
“We’re trying to win the
midterms. That’s what I’m focused on… I expect to spend wherever our candidates
need it…
“I think we’re pretty
strong in fundraising right now because I think we have a message and a
direction that the American people bought into and are ready to invest in.”

“We already know what
[Democrats] are going to do because of what they did with the [government]
shutdown. 43 days they held the government hostage. They’re going to
investigate. They’re going to obstruct. They are going to impeach. That’s why
we have no other option. We have to win.
“We’re completely focused
on the midterms. We’re going to do everything we possibly can. And that
includes candidates, messaging, using the President… as the messenger to pull
these low propensity voters out…”
