On the Florida Primary
Results:
"That's what it's all
about, candidate quality across the country...Ashley Moody's one of the best
candidates in the country...She is an absolute superstar, the largest vote
getter in Florida. You put her alongside Byron Donalds, who's probably the best
communicator in our party across the country. These two guys at the top of the
ticket are going to crush Jolly and Nixon."
On the Republicans' Unified
Message:
"President [Trump] has been fighting for the average American worker since day one, passing things like the Working Families Tax Cuts, no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security. He's been going to bat for the American worker every single day...This president is literally going to bat for the American worker, doing everything humanly possible to try to make sure the nose gets up and the economy gets back in the right direction."

On Republicans’ Strong
Candidate Recruitment:
“Candidate quality is
probably the most important thing about this cycle, and we think that we have
the matchups we want because [President Trump] went out there and endorsed a
lot of these [candidates]. They're MAGA warriors…When you put that against these
radical leftists that the Democrats are nominating across the country, we have
a lot of matchups that are favorable to us.”
“[Angie Nixon is]
going to be the top of the ticket going against Ashley Moody...Remember, we
have nine potential new congressmen coming in from the state of Florida as a
result of redistricting and retirements. The top of the ticket, complete
radical leftists, along with David Jolly. It's going to really create an
amazing opportunity for Florida to deliver big. Candidate quality makes a
difference, and the Democrats continue to elect these radical leftists. And I
think that at the end of the day, people are going to reject extremism.”
On the Midterm Convention:
"This is going to be
the first cycle in the history of the party where the Republicans outspend the
Democrats. And then we're going to do things like the midterm convention,
which, by the way, is open to the general public for the first time ever. Go to
gopconvention.com
and get your tickets…We're going to be able to share all these great messaging
things that the president has done for his first two years and explain to the
American people the contrast that you have in November. Commonsense versus
absolute craziness on the left.”
