PRESIDENT TRUMP TO HEADLINE 2026 REPUBLICAN MIDTERM CONVENTION SHOWCASING THE COMMON SENSE REVOLUTION

Press Release

Two-night Dallas convention will feature candidates, congressional leaders and everyday Americans ahead of November’s midterm elections

DALLAS, TX — President Donald J. Trump will headline the 2026 Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas, September 9–10, as Republicans draw a clear contrast between the mainstream policies delivering results for the American people and the extreme Democrat agenda that would grind government to a halt at the American people's expense. The two-night convention will make the case for continuing President Trump’s America First agenda — lower costs, higher incomes, secure borders, safer communities, American energy dominance, stronger manufacturing and patient-first healthcare — while highlighting what is at stake if Democrats return to power.

President Trump will headline both nights of the convention, joined by Vice President JD Vance, former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Republican leaders and candidates from across the country.

“We are excited to be in Dallas for a first-of-its-kind midterm convention that will show the American people exactly what’s at stake in November. Republicans are lowering costs, securing our border, making our communities safer, and putting American workers and families first. Democrats are offering the same failed agenda of higher costs, open borders, obstruction, and radical policies. The choice could not be clearer: keep the Common Sense Revolution going or let Democrats take America backward,” said RNC Chairman Joe Gruters.

The convention will feature candidates, Members of Congress, and everyday Americans, alongside governors, administration officials, veterans, law enforcement, farmers, small business owners, and working families.

The convention will focus on the issues shaping the midterms: lowering costs and raising incomes, securing the border and keeping communities safe, strengthening American energy and manufacturing, delivering patient-first healthcare, and protecting parents, children, and American values.

Throughout the program, Republicans will highlight the results of Conservatives’ America First agenda while drawing a sharp contrast with Democrats on affordability, the economy, immigration, crime, healthcare, and cultural issues.

Everyday Americans will play a prominent role in the convention, sharing firsthand stories about how policies in Washington affect their families, businesses, and communities. Their stories will be featured alongside Republican candidates and elected leaders from across the country.

The convention will make the case that the choice in November is clear: Republicans will continue lowering costs, creating safer communities, a maintaining a secure border, and delivering a stronger America — Democrats would take us backward.

The 2026 Republican Midterm Convention will take place September 9–10 in Dallas.
