WASHINGTON - The Republican National Committee (RNC) released today a new episode of “Real America,” a podcast hosted by RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. In this new episode, Chairwoman McDaniel and CT-05 Congressional Candidate George Logan sit down to discuss Logan’s positive vision for a more prosperous country and his family's story behind building their own American Dream, the reality of Biden’s student loan bailout, and the impact of the RNC’s engagement with minority voters including the RNC Community Center located in New Britain, Connecticut.
“We just saw a study that nine-year-olds are now at a 30-year low in math and reading. We just saw chronic absenteeism is up. We've seen huge mental health issues with young women going to the hospital with more self-harm cases than we've had -- 51% increase in that,” explained Chairwoman McDaniel. “I mean, these are facts. And Democrats know this happened. They know it happened under their watch. And you know what they did about it? They said instead of showing up our kids that we just left behind, we're going to go pay off college loans for kids who can afford it, who have good jobs, who are doing fine, because you know what? They can vote, a kindergartener can't.”
“I got to tell you, thank you. The RNC, the community center that you opened up in New Britain has been huge,” said Logan . “It's been an amazing asset to the operations of my campaign and other Republicans in Connecticut … You know, we have been bringing in Hispanic constituents who have been coming in, registering to vote for the first time, wanting to volunteer and to help out. We have helped out with programs with Black History Month, Asian Pacific Americans... It's just been it's been wonderful. So, the Hispanic population, the minority population, they're looking for an alternative and we provide that alternative for them. And the RNC Community Center has again, it's been a huge asset, incredibly helpful.”
“Real America” features stories from outside the beltway, highlights Republican leadership and shows how Republican policies are leading America’s comeback and working for real Americans. Chairwoman McDaniel is offering the platform for Republican leaders to share their successes and for listeners to hear real stories from the exciting, leading voices in our Party.
