The Republican National Committee (RNC) released today the ninth episode of Real America, a podcast hosted by RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. In this episode, Chairwoman McDaniel hosted Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds to discuss key issues facing real Americans. The two discuss issues in the classroom from keeping our schools open to critical race theory, how the Governor is leading the economic recovery in the Hawkeye State, and the importance of electing Republican women.
“I’m thrilled to be joined by the great Governor of the Hawkeye State, Kim Reynolds, to cover issues facing real Americans outside the bubble, from getting kids back in the classrooms and banning critical race theory to creating an economy of unlimited opportunity,” said Chairwoman McDaniel. “While Democrat governors were shutting down their states and closing down their economies, Republican leaders like Governor Reynolds fought hard to keep their states and economies open, with the underlying message being the importance of work.”
In the podcast, Chairwoman McDaniel and Governor Reynolds also discuss the incredible opportunities Iowans have to enter the workforce in the Hawkeye State.
“We have a great quality of life. We have a really great workforce. Our workforce participation rate is always in the top percentage of the country, Iowans are known for that,” said Governor Reynolds. “We’ve led trade missions all over the world. We are a leader in renewable energy. We lead in ethanol and biodiesel. And I am an all of the above energy policy person because it has to be you know, we have to be diversified in how we're providing our energy to not only Iowans, but Americans.”
