The Republican National Committee (RNC) released today a special end-of-year episode of “Real America,” a podcast hosted by RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. In this episode, Chairwoman McDaniel and RNC National Spokesperson Paris Dennard sit down and look back at some highlights of surprising, thought-provoking, and touching moments from the past year.
“I think you're going to find this with a lot of our interviews. A lot of Republicans come from different backgrounds,” explained Chairwoman McDaniel. “So she [Noem] was a rancher. Her dad died. She dealt with the death tax. She understands what businesses and farmers are dealing with in her state. It helped her be a better leader through the pandemic, and we see that across the spectrum with Republican leaders, from Governor to Senate to House.”
“This party is so diverse, and we have strong, powerful, smart, talented Republican women. I mean, you, Ronna, are a shining example of this. Your leadership here is, in my opinion, one of the most successful RNC chairs that we've ever had,” said Dennard. “But also, there are other people like Kellyanne Conway. I mean, she has an impressive resume before her time working for former President Trump. I think ‘Real America’ exposes these talented individuals that people don't really get a chance to understand. But you share their stories, Americans listen to them directly.”
“Real America” features stories from outside the beltway, highlights Republican leadership, and shows how Republican policies are leading America’s comeback and working for real Americans. Chairwoman McDaniel is offering a platform for Republican leaders to share their successes and for listeners to hear real stories from the exciting, leading voices in our Party.
