WASHINGTON - Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new video slamming Biden and Democrats on their inflation crisis that has sent prices skyrocketing.
“American families are facing skyrocketing costs for everyday goods, yet Joe Biden continues to lie and push for trillions in wasteful spending and the largest tax hike in decades. From gas to groceries to gifts, Americans are paying more for nearly everything this holiday season because of Joe Biden and Democrats’ failed policies,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
The latest data shows the highest surge in prices in nearly four decades. The Labor Department announced that consumer prices increased by 6.8 percent in November compared to last year and core consumer prices rose 4.9 percent since last year, the largest increase since June 1991. Also, producer prices rose 9.6% from last year, making this the eighth month in a row producer price increases have hit a new record high.
Despite Joe Biden’s lies that wages are up, the data shows average hourly earnings decreased 1.9 percent, with inflation eating up workers' wage gains. Biden and Democrats failed, and their only solution is to recklessly spend trillions more of taxpayer dollars.
