WASHINGTON – Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new video slamming Democrats for ramming through their Bidenflation Scam bill that raises taxes and hires an army of 87,000 new IRS agents.
“Biden and Democrats are out-of-touch and do not care about the pain and suffering they are causing Americans. Democrats celebrate raising taxes on families during a recession they created and weaponizing the IRS to target small businesses and hardworking Americans,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
Last week, Democrats rammed through their Bidenflation Scam – a bill which will shrink the economy, kill thousands of jobs, impose crushing taxes on families and businesses, and worsen – not reduce – inflation.
While Americans get crushed with higher taxes, Biden and Democrats voted to give $80 billion to the IRS for additional audits and an army of 87,000 new IRS agents . The Bidenflation Scam bill spends 14 times as much money on enforcement as it does on taxpayer services.
Democrats’ army of new IRS agents would disproportionately target poorer Americans. Last year, the IRS audited Americans earning $25,000 a year at five times the rate of other groups and directed “more than half” of its audits at those making less than $75,000.
