WASHINGTON – Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new video slamming Biden for sending inflation up, real wages down, and the economy into a recession. The new video features Republican Leader of the House Ways and Means Committee Rep. Kevin Brady and Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform.
“The pain is the point for Biden and Democrats whose agenda is crushing hardworking Americans. Democrats tanked our economy and want to make it worse – they are out-of-touch and will face the consequences of their actions this November,” said RNC Chairwoman McDaniel.
“Everything accelerated when President Biden and Democrats rammed through that nearly $2 trillion so-called COVID stimulus,” said Rep. Brady. “Joe Biden's economy is a cruel economy.”
“Biden brought us this inflation the same way Jimmy Carter did. Too many regulations, too much taxation, printing too much money because the government is spending too much money,” explained Norquist.
With the economy in recession, historically high inflation, and axes poised to rise on middle-class families, Biden’s relentless attack on working-class Americans is showing no signs of slowing down. In July, the Consumer Price Index soared by 8.5 percent compared to last year, meaning inflation remained at the highest levels in 40 years. Meanwhile, real average hourly earnings fell 3.0 percent over the last year, marking the 16th month in a row under Biden in which inflation has outpaced wages.
Biden’s latest move? Bailing out $10,000 in student debt per person which will cost American taxpayers more than $1 trillion and would immediately increase inflation and “create additional inflationary pressure over time.” By bailing out the wealthy, Joe Biden is lining the pockets of Democrats at the expense of working Americans.
