The Republican National Committee (RNC) released part II of the “Free of Fear” video series. The latest in the series features Hispanic voices of the RNC discussing the failures of Biden and Democrats that have affected the Hispanic community.
“It took the Biden administration far too long – weeks to condemn socialism and communism, and I think that what it boils down to is that Democrats welcome socialists and socialist policies to their party, and they have a hard time standing up for freedom and opportunity. What should have happened from the onset, what you saw from Republican leaders from the onset was support for those that were fighting for freedom in Cuba.” – RNC Communications Director Danielle Alvarez
“One of the things that we appreciate the most when we come to the United States is to be able to live in safe neighborhoods. I would say that most Latin American countries, we have gangs, we have drug traffickers, we have lots of crime from different sources. When we come to the United States, we find safe neighborhoods. You can send your kids to school and be able to feel safe that nothing is going to happen to them. That doesn't happen in Latin America. And sadly, we're seeing from a few months back to now that some of those things that we didn't expect that would happen one day in the United States are already happening. “ – RNC Hispanic Communications Director Jaime Florez
“The Biden administration has their constant pedaling of defunding the police. Not backing the blue. Not supporting law and order. We're seeing a lot of the Border Patrol agents and law enforcement officers have absolutely no no say anymore because they've taken their voice away, because they've taken funding away, and there's no way for them to protect their own communities when the administration isn't even taking care of them. Because at the end of the day, Republicans have stepped up for them, whereas Democrats have not.” – RNC Texas Communications Director Macarena Martinez
“There's illicit drugs flooding into the country at record rates. Thousands of pounds of fentanyl are being seized and human traffickers are coming in and dropping children off at the border. Defund the Police is not working with the border because all of this is flooding in not only to border communities, but to the rest of the United States.” – RNC Deputy National Press Secretary Nicole Morales
