RNC Releases Video Slamming Democrats on School Closures, Radical Education Agenda

Press Release

Democrats put wealthy adults and left-wing special interests ahead of parents and children

WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new video slamming  Democrats’ disastrous education agenda that puts left-wing special interests ahead of students and parents. During this back-to-school season, Biden and Democrats have prioritized bailing out the wealthy while children across the country are missing from the classroom and are falling behind.

WATCH HERE

“Democrats think politicians and D.C. bureaucrats know what is best for our children, but Republicans know parents do. After years of suffering from Democrat lockdowns, children are paying the price for Democrats putting special interests first. Families will remember how Biden and Democrats bailed out wealthy adults while leaving our children behind.” - RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel

After years of halting students’ educations, Democrats are still pushing woke ideologies, mandates, and their war on parents. Biden and Democrats have taken a stand against parental involvement in schools, siding with teachers’ unions over parents and even comparing concerned parents  to domestic terrorists.

School closures remain top of mind for voters this November as Democrat Senate candidates like Patty Murray do not regret closing schools and John Fetterman is proud to say the "first people" he'll call if elected would be the teachers' union.

Democrats fought to keep children masked and mandated, but Republicans got children back in the classroom. In fact, 19 of the top 20 states for getting their kids back into schools in-person during the 2020-2021 school year were led by Republicans. It is no wonder why the American people trust Republicans more on education.

This November, voters will remember what Democrats did to our children during the pandemic, from locking down schools and keeping them shut as long as possible, to demanding toddlers  wear masks and isolating students.
