WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley released a statement commemorating the 80th Anniversary of D-Day:
“Today, we honor the brave American heroes and allied troops who stormed the beaches of Normandy 80 years ago. On D-Day, we remember the brave men who fought to preserve our liberties and the 2,501 Americans who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Without them, the free world would not be what it is today. May God bless these American heroes today and every day.”
