WASHINGTON - Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement honoring the life of Senator Bob Dole:
“The Republican Party holds Elizabeth Dole and the Dole family in our prayers. Bob Dole was a World War 2 hero, RNC Chairman, U.S. Senator, and GOP nominee for President, exemplifying the very best of our party and our country. His dedication to our nation is a testament to his legacy of service, and we all owe Bob Dole and his family an immense debt of gratitude. Rest in peace, Bob Dole.”
In October, the RNC passed a resolution honoring Senator Dole, Elizabeth, and Robin Dole for their ongoing service to our country and to celebrate his 98th birthday.
