Washington, D.C. – Republican National
Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters released the following statement after the
Senate Homeland Security Committee voted to hold Anthony Fauci in contempt
of Congress.
“Fauci and Democrats’ orders
destroyed millions of jobs, irreparably hurt children, and crippled our
economy,” said Chairman Gruters. “Joe Biden and Democrats know Fauci is
guilty, which is why he was pardoned and why every Democrat voted against
holding him in contempt of Congress. Fauci should be held accountable, and
Republicans are fighting to do just that.”
