Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters released the following statement on the
historic lunar flyby of Artemis II:
“President Trump is once
again proving that America leads the world in innovation, strength, and space
exploration,” said Chairman Gruters. “But while Americans celebrate this
achievement, Democrats are scrambling to rewrite their record. Every Democrat,
including Senator Mark Kelly, opposed the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ that secured
nearly $10 billion to fund Artemis and future missions. Democrats are trying to
rewrite history and take credit for a mission they voted against and funding
they fought to strip away.”
